What does it do to improve the tabbed browsing?
I’m using Opera but getting stressed with it. Thinking about going back to Firefox.
A whole bunch of things, there’s loads of settings. For example, each tab has a close button on it, progress bar’s built into the tab on the tab bar, italic and/or different font for new tabs which you haven’t yet seen, focus controls, loads…
I find that Opera is OK, nice and fast, but some stuff just isn’t quite right with it.
Hmm, I might just have to go look at that. Thanks bud.
The close on each tab is what made me switch to Opera in the first place.
I love the developer bar in Firefox and the folders for favourites, hate the amount of memory it uses (300mb on my machine) and the right hand only close a tab option.
Thanks!
You know you can middle click on a tab to close it? (aka the scrollwheel)
Ah cool! Nope I didn’t know that. That works without the extension installed, I guess thats why you mentioned it. Ta
