Following from Collin’s post a while ago about the UK weather this "Summer" – seriously, what is going on? Is this the start of the Global Warming effects? Is this our fault? At the time of writing this, London’s Thames river have just closed their flood gates and Croydon have received just over 34mm of rain in the last hour!
Yorkshire is no doubt still flooded and thousands of people are still out of their homes. When will all this calm down?
Also, just took a quick look on the Met Office website and the Flood Warning was amusing to say the least.
You can see for yourself, the entire of the South of England has a flood warning for today. I heard on the radio this morning that a spokesperson from The Met Office has predicted heavy rainfall for the next two months. Two Months! If that’s correct, and if the rainfall continues as it is, the red area’s above won’t exist in two months time! Worried!!?…
