A bit of night photography… What’s this?

Photography? At night? On this blog? Surely not…

Well its currently 2.42am and I’m sat next to my girlfriend as we both write up on our blogs about our evenings worth of night photography. Sad, eh? Not at all …

Anyway, a few photos from the evening below. I’m quite pleased considering I haven’t been out at night with my camera in a very long time now. Also, I’ve finally done it – managed to grab a long exposure of an emergency services vehicle with its “blues” on! Good times.

Dude, I brought a ‘fish-eye’ lens from eBay and the bugger didn’t work.. hmmm…

No way? That sucks. I got mine from a friend for… I think about £30! Bargain – mine is a Peleng 8mm fully manual – as in manual focus & aperture. Bit of a bitch to use, all it does is you screw it on the end of the camera, then play around with the focus, etc, from there…

    What doesn’t work on yours?

It was just a filter so had no controls just the lens itself. Doesn’t leave much the imagination on how pants it was. I threw it in the bin.
So if I’m looking to buy one for my Nikon D40… What we looking at price wise?
