I’ve gone and bought Sylvester!!

I have a load of updates to write very soon, but first and foremost – I have another Mini! I bought Sylvester, Paul’s Mini. For those of you who don’t know what, or who, this is, let me explain.

Its a 1990 Black Checkmate Mini with a 1380cc Swiftune Road Rocket engine. It includes a Weber 45 DCOE carburettor, Kent 286 rally cam, stage 3 Swiftune head, and loads more! After much thought and debate, I picked it up yesterday from Paul’s and I’m well happy.

Now, you may be thinking "What am I going to do with the Red one?". Well that’s crossed my mind a lot too, but I hope to continue doing what I was doing to her, just at a slower rate – and a better quality one. I will continue to save for an engine (including a staged head this time – and one which is fully built up). The saving will take me longer, but I hope worth it in the end.

At the end of the day, I’ll end up with two awesome Mini’s – both loud and fast (hopefully my Red one having the edge slightly!). And for now? – an awesome Mini to have fun with!! Here’s some photos of my new beast…

Very nice, although what does one person need 3 cars for? :S

Hehe, very true! Let me explain, sort of…

Fiesta – my normal car. Quiet, comfy, works.
Sylvester – my fun car. Loud, fast, very fun.
Red Mini – project car. Learn from it, build it, make it better.

    Just being greedy really! :)

    Too much disposable income? ;)

Hardly! Otherwise I’d have more than three! And a Canon 5d with a big white one on the end!! :)
