I’ve been meaning to blog this for a while now, but the results for the competition we had when I met up with the people from the Gunwharf Flickr Group have been announced. As you might remember, I met up with a bunch of people from this Flickr group to just meet up and take photos of the Spinnaker tower and surrounding area, although there was also a competition involved too.
Anyway, to cut to the chase, I came an equal second place. There were two separate competitions for two different subjects – The Spinnaker Tower and Southsea. I submitted this photo for my Spinnaker Tower entry, and this one for my Southsea entry.
The two winners, Monster and Pakora, submitted the photos below as their entries.

I think everyone who decided to enter their chosen pictures did a great job, and all of the photos in the group in general are really great. I’m quite pleased with my results and I agree with my position. I don’t think my photos are better than the above two, although do think that they are worth a 2nd or 3rd place, which I received. Very pleased.
