Yesterday evening, my boss popped out of the office for a short while and when he got back, he said there was a load of weird hanging fog across the field near our office. I popped down to the park and shot some photos.
Also, I spotted the Moon coming up. It was taken at about 4:30pm, so it was very low. Along with the fog laying across the field, the cricket board (not sure what they’re called) and the Moon being this low, makes a strange photo.
Not exactly my favourite photo ever, and not sharp by any means, but weird needless to say. It was taken at about 1/60th second at 300mm at ISO1600. Very grainy and blurry because it was hand-held at that zoom. Of course, its actually taken at 480mm, because of the Canon 350d’s 1.6x crop factor.
I’m looking forward to Winter coming, since changing whether like this creates yet more photographic opportunities. Should be interesting, although I am finding my lens misting up pretty quickly when changing ambient temperatures!
