Torquay seaside and harbour photos

I don’t really like photographing the average-joe normal Seaside snaps that everyone seems to take, although I did anyway, but Torquay really is a great place to take snaps, as well as a nice place to visit. There’s plenty to do.

As part of the many photos I took, this one was one of my favourites. There are loads of places to walk in and around Torquay’s Harbour and Bay and I couldn’t help notice how many seats were down this pier, simply hundreds!

Take a seat

The seats are sort of built into the railings. Kinda cool.

Just round the corner from that were all the working fishing boats and all the various bits, bobs and equipment that goes with it. I didn’t want to spend long here, photographing manky old rope and various other fishy objects, but I managed to get this great reflection thanks to puddle and massive down pore the previous night.

Harbour reflection

After a good walk we finished up on the main seafront and the tide was out. A lovely amount of sand too. Just why don’t we have this much sand back at home?

Torquay beach

After this we walked back to the Hotel and got ourselves skied, ready for the go-karting!

Thanks for make me remember such nice places as the beach or the harbour.
I’ll never forget those summer days walking around the town, smelling fish and chips on the air, old people sitting in the sun and feeding the seagulls…

    Many kisses from Spain,
